Kieron Hodgson

Kieron joined Charles Stanley Securities in November 2010 as its Mining Analyst from Lloyds banking group following the acquisition of Halifax Bank of Scotland.

He began his City career in 1997 with Clerical Medical as a junior administrator, before rising to the role of senior reconciliation analyst. He moved to Insight Investment's UK Equity Team in 2005 before becoming an assistant fund manager responsible for over £5bn of UK long only, institutional and retail mandates in 2007 and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment.

Prior to joining Charles Stanley Securities, Kieron was responsible for the orderly transfer of the UK equity portfolios from Insight Investment to Scottish Widows Investment partnership.

Kieron is responsible for the publication of the daily commodity update covering multiple commodity classes and is also the author of Charles Stanley Securities regular diamond market publication, "the Quarterly carat". Kieron is happy to speak to all media on the mining sector.
