Douglas covers the transport & travel sector, including airlines, bus & rail companies, and tour operators; he was ranked second in the sector by the 2009 & 2010 Starmine survey of analyst recommendations.

He joined Charles Stanley in 2010, having worked previously at ABN Amro, Astaire Securities, Barclays de Zoete Wedd, and the Conservative Research Department.
